Ian and Michelle from Bewdley brought their Blue 2014 T5.1 Camper conversion project to VW Worx for a few upgrades! Their camper had already been fitted with windows, a pop-top and a sliding rib bed.
The paintwork to the lower half of the conversion was in need of some TLC so Ian and Michelle requested a two-tone paint finish. After lots of consideration, we repainted the lower half of the van with a beautiful metallic black with a blue/green fleck. This paint colour contrasted with the blue top half and tied in with the window tint and the black pop-top roof.
Internally, we fitted some custom built cabinets with plenty of cupboards and drawers finished in a pale blue and oak. The worktop was cut from grey Corian and incorporated a sink and two ring gas burner.
Although the rib bed was a three seater, we still managed to build a custom cabinet that would just about fit the hob and a small fridge beneath. A matching set of bed boards finished off the rib bed and all of the socket and switch holes were cut by our CNC machine ready for Ian to complete the wiring.
In the back, there are two large side locker doors and a lower access door, to the rear there are two further opening doors. Ian and Michelle were over the moon with their camper and are looking forward to taking it away soon.
