Camper Jam to Camper Dream

Tracey and Mark Thompson are converting their own T5 camper and had already fitted the windows, lined the inside and fitted a Rib bed.

After meeting the VW Worx team at this years Camper Jam in Weston Park, Shropshire, Tracey and Mark trusted us with their conversion to design, build and fit their cabinets to their own specification.

They wanted tambour doors to the top cupboards, a wine rack and a cupboard with a door that could be removed to fit a fridge in the future. Mark is a very handy guy and decided that he was going to sort out plumbing in the sink, burner and fit the electrics with a friend.  We set to work and designed the units and cut them out with our CNC cutter for a quality finish.

This van proved to be a tricky one for VW Worx as we had a few issues with the existing bed, but thanks to some perseverance from the team and some patience from Tracey and Mark we got there and even added one of our trademark colour change LED surfboard lighting systems in silver to match the units.

They have already booked their van in for a 5.1 nose upgrade and a full respray. We have organised for an electrics pack is to be sent to Mark to fit and we look forward to seeing the finished camper in all of it's glory!
