Mike and Betty from Stockton Heath came to VW Worx for some help with their 2019 VW T6 camper conversion project.
Recently, Mike and Betty made the decision to downsize from their beautiful Mercedes Sprinter campervan to a VW T6. Mike, a retired engineer, had converted the Sprinter to the highest standard a few years ago and they have both enjoyed many happy times in it but were finding that they were restricted as to where they could take it due to it's height. Many of the places that they wanted to go had introduced height restrictions so the decision was made to downsize.
The T6 is the perfect size for Mike and Betty and Mike has started the conversion process. Currently there are two side windows, grey laminate flooring and the 3 way stretch carpet lining is in progress.
Mike and Betty chose VW Worx to supply and fit a side unit into their conversion project. Constructed from Hacienda Black lightweight furniture ply and finished with a black sparkle worktop and splash back, the unit was fitted quickly and even had room to slide their portable toilet into one of the cupboards.
